European Swing Dance Championships

About

The 2015 European Swing Dance Championships will be held in London, England on 15-18 October 2015, at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, near Heathrow Airport. Swing dancers from all nations of the world are invited to attend and compete in the swing dance contests, enjoy four huge nights of social dancing with live jazz music and international DJs, and take part in workshops taught by top international instructors. As always, there will be big cash prizes and our EuroStar Award program!
The European Swing Dance Championships was created to support the development of European Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and other swing dances, through competitive dancing and showcase. ESDC aims to be a world-class, international event, celebrating and promoting jazz-age dances, their music and culture. ESDC hopes to highlight the European presence in the international swing dancing community, whilst also honoring the rich history of Lindy Hop and other jazz dances, and preserving their true spirit.

Registration opens 9.00am GMT, Monday 23rd March 2015.

Location

ESDC is hosted in the beautiful 4-star Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel, conveniently located just minutes from Heathrow Airport in London. There are free buses from the airport to the hotel, and free parking. With a full schedule of classes and contests all day, and social dancing all night, staying in the hotel is the best way to enjoy the full ESDC experience! The #1 regret given on last year’s feedback form, even from London-based locals, was not having stayed in the hotel!
So don’t miss out! Last year the hotel sold out. We have secured amazing discounted hotel rates from just £30 per person per night, with free daily breakfast buffet and free wifi included. Single, Double, Twin and Triple rooms are available. This year you will make your accommodation bookings direct with the hotel.
